Poetry: My dreams

DREAMS

A sleepless night of restless dreams,

Of wondrous glory by mountain streams,

Of old and unknown places.

Strange and sullen faces.

Dreams that make no sense to me,

Places where I have no wish to be.

Some that continue to scare in my wake.

Others that my breath they take.

Several seem so strange to me.

From these dreams I wish to be free.

Dreams of anger, fear and hate,

That show my future and my fate.
