Leave Me Alone

I so needed someone to talk to.
And that someone was you;
A stranger of the night,
I know what I did wasn't right.

I led you on because I needed to be held tight,
Tho now I am filled with fright.
The booze took over and began to create...
A sincere miss justice of fate.

I never meant for you to get serious about me,
I only needed comfort couldn't you see.
But now I am filled with fright.
Because I stole your heart last night.

You're girl you want me to be.
But, I have to be free.
I can only see hurt in a relation.
For I have been through that situation,

I truly meant you no harm
With my intoxicated charm.
To being your girl I must object.
My feelings, only hurt do they reflect.

My feelings for you were only that of need.
My conscience I failed to heed.
And now your heart I have torn.
Causing you great scorn.

I ask only that you understand my tone.
I just want you to leave me alone.
