I dreamed of a new world
One without pain
One without hurt
I dreamed of people without care
Who did not suffer
Who did not cry
I dreamed of a world
That had endless days
And bright, beautiful nights.
Yet it was only after I woke up
That I realized that the world I dreamt
Was a world without life.
