If you are a movie buff and love wild action and even crazier stunts than look know further than this expansion pack to last years PC hit, The Movies. The Movies Stunts & Effects adds the elements of stunts and effects. These new added features help make each movie more action packed and daring. A new job is added from the previous game, the Stuntman. These people endanger their life and livelihood to make the stunt look spectacular.

The added benefit of having these stuntmen is that your stars don't have to take the punishment that the stunt provides. Starting out with your stuntmen they can only perform low level stunts. With each successful stunt they gain experience and are able to perform more dangerous stunts later. You have to look after these daring dos, as if their condition is to low they will need to stay in the hospital to recover from injuries. You can train your stuntmen through specialized equipment. But this is one of the downsides of the expansion pack as often times they fail and get injured. Usually this takes a few bouts with the training device and a trip to the hospital before they can perform successful training.

These stuntmen and stunts are introduced in the 1960's era. So you will have to wait before you start using them or there is a jump right in feature where you start in the 60's to get working with stunts right away. The first stuntman you hire comes with your first stunt script. It is a comedy script and a simple stunt. Sometimes it's successful and sometimes it's a failure. Each failure takes a huge amount out of the stuntman's condition, which in turn keeps him from performing successful stunts until he is fully healed. With success the stuntman only takes a small hit to his condition and gains experience faster than with the failure. Success and Failure also effect the outcome the movie, success brings a higher rating and failure of course drops the rating.

It is important to us a stuntman who looks similar to the star. This will boost the rating of the film. Nothing is more embarrassing than seeing a stuntman double for a female actress. These missteps will lower the rating of your movie. So hire some female stunt performers as well. Of course if you are going for that comedic steroid look, by all means cast a male stunt double for the woman.

Lionhead also thought to through in some added awards for the stuntmen specifically. With each award of course
