Poetry: Fantasy

I'm Expecting the unexpected

Don't question me

About paternity

If you have your doubts

Take a swab of the cheek

And let the lab tech

Have a quick look-see

I must confess

It will be hard for you to digest

At the moment of conception

I wondered could it be

That my wandering thoughts

Manifested a life in reality?

Physically you were with me

But spirituality I was with another

Our child was created through fantasy

Implanted in me from my dream lover

Thoughts so focused

They became true

The baby I carried wasn't deposited by you

On another realm I was creepin

During the night time hours when I was sleeping

Invading my thoughts and far more than my head

My fantasy lover and I did bed

And it is his child I birthed

Celestial being not of this earth

For all it's worth

I considered calling the Maury show to confirm

The first baby born of such a birth

But even for them it was so far fetched

Something that the average man cannot accept

So just so you know

When the results come through

Don't be surprised by what they prove

You'll figure your eyes have been deceived

And difficulty processing what you will read

They will certainly be

Undoubtedly

99.99 percent pure fantasy
