With a spotted tongue
I been telling lies since I was young
Telling one lie
To get out of another
Now no matter how hard I try
To people I'm a compulsive bother
No truth comes out of me not one word
And if you tell me a secret
You can bet on it I won't be able to keep a lid
Lies
And despise
Is my everyday staple diet
How can I convince you?
That I want to change
When already this sentence I have a different view
I think I can tell the truth out of a lie
But honestly I don't want to try
Do you find that strange?
You think about it for a while
I have to go
To my billions I must say hello
And spend with a big smile
A quick toast
To lies
And all it implies
At least I'm honest about it now I'm off to somewhere else to boast

Poetry: Lies
Cross your heart,
And hope to lie.
Truths be told,
Then people cry.
Mix them up,
And tell me which is which.
Then within
Lies, lies, fingers in pies
You just can't admit it, your high as a kite
Your bubbling and brooding will get you nowhere
Something happened
Something did
I should
But I don't regret it
Other people were there
Other people know
One of them told her
They

layer upon layer
of silver lined lies
we wrap our love
in an intricate
lace-patterned cloak
of deceit
and slowly
it
I wish I could have seen
your face when you told me
"I love you"
I just know you were winkng
at the girl all dressed in
