Dave Connelly of CASCAR Super Series, Team RaceSportz, was at the Lincoln fields Mall doing his part to help out with local public schools. A little time graciously donated by Dave and his crew going towards helping the public schools in the area raise funds for needed gym and other sports equipment. Serving up tasty Schneider's hot dogs and serving up drinks, autographed pictures and a friendly word or two. A gift bag with assorted prizes from the various sponsors, came with your dog and drink, and was a big hit with the fans.

From Arnprior, the local area driver has a number of accomplishments to be very proud of, including numerous wins and podium appearances. As well as winning the 2006 Cascar Sportsman Rookie of the Year Award, and the 2002 CASCAR Super Series Toronto Molson Indy Top Rookie Award. Over the years Dave has raced in open wheel formula cars, road racing sedans, winter rallying, mini-stocks in addition to the CASCAR Sportsman and CASCAR Super Series. He is currently competing in both the Ontario Sportsman Series as well as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series.

Dave has always shown an interest in cars and speed right from High School through till launching his career. Dave started racing in his early twenties, with the Motor sport Club of Ottawa, running Solo 1 winning a number of races his first year out. After a few years off Dave started road-racing with the Winnipeg Sports Car Club finishing 2nd in the 1997 Winnipeg Sports Car Club Championship and clinching the Rookie of the Year Award at the same time. From there Dave found his passion and moved home to Ottawa, where he started racing in the Yokohama Formula 1200 Series, as well as racing mini-stocks at the local stockcar track, Capital City Speedway. Dace continued to win races that year and prompted his move into late model stockcars in Canada's #1 stockcar series; CASCAR.

Touring across Ontario Dave and his crew, will provide fans of Cascar numerous opportunities to meet and greet the driver and his team. As the race team with the help of their sponsors, make there way across public schools all over Ontario, from Tillsonburg, London area, too their home town west of Ottawa, and travelling as far as North Bay. So helping to raise thousands of dollars for public schools across Ontario, has not only provided much needed help for the schools and their students, but help to bring some positive attention to the sport. Dave Connelly and his team are a credit to the sport and inspiration to all those who surround them with their generosity and good spirits.
