Hardly any job is something one can love 100% of the time. It's probably safe to say that doing a job equates to not doing something for the fun of it. If I am correct in this assumption, try the following mental exercise!
Go to work in the morning knowing how much money you will earn this particular day. As the work day begins, start thinking about what you are going to do after work. Plan your after-work time with great detail, and anticipate all of this evenings events and pleasures. Time will pass more quickly as you utilize more and more imagination as to actual and possible activities being made reality because of your employment.
Another successful strategy deals with attitude. If you start each day with the conscious thought that "today will be a better day than yesterday was", you might be rewarded with positive results.
Should your hated job be of the mundane, household variety, the reward thought-process applies. As we think of the rewards that await us after the completed chore, it may be surprising how soon job's end arrives.
One other strategy has worked for me personally. My employment was very tedious work, and stressful. I decided to attack the most unpleasant aspects of my job with intent to get that part done more efficiently, and quicker. The improvements that I made earned me a promotion to a much better position.
The bottom line is this, we all have things that we have to do that we hate. This is a shared condition. As you learn to direct your mind's attention to more pleasant things to come, only good can come of it.
