A Plan For Earning Money Online

In this age of the internet, the opportunities to make money have grown exponentially, all while you sit in your bathrobe. One of the new methods of earning pennies to dollars is by writing for the various sites that pay, such as Associated Content, Hubpages, How to Do Things, Xomba, and Helium of course. The question, however, is how best to maximize your earnings writing for these sites?

Although I believe that it is good to spread yourself around and try your hand at all of the various writing site, spending a bit of time writing exclusively for each of them will give you an idea of the kind of earnings you can expect. In addition, it will give you a feel for how the site works and whether you are able to write for it comfortably.

In my particular case, I stumbled upon Helium at a time when they had just introduced upfront payments for articles. I believe this is a boon to writers, as it gives you a little incentive to write a lot of content. And in the long run, a lot of content will generate you a nice little source of passive income.

In this article, I would just like to focus on the plan I have developed for writing at Helium. The idea is to quickly maximize earnings while not devoting too much time to the site. Although I have a little experience writing for the web, I believe that this is something anyone with some writing skills can do. And even if you don't have writing skills, Helium can be a place to develop those.

Although the advice in this article might change as the rules at Helium, or similar writing sites change, the idea of writing lots of good quality content still holds.

Here are my plans:

1. In my first month, write 30 articles of good quality. By the end of the month, I will have earned three writing stars, enough to be paid $1.50 for each article. In addition, each article will start earning me roughly 10 cents per month.

2. In the second month write another 70 articles of good quality (roughly two articles per day). By the end of the month I will have earned four writing stars, enough to be paid $2 for each article. By then, I should be earning about $10 per month passive income.

3. The third month will be the busiest, and should be a time that you can focus on your writing. During the third month, I plan to write another 200 good quality articles (roughly six articles per day). By the end of the month, I will have five writing stars, enough to be paid $2.50 for each article. And I should be earning around $30 per month passive income.

By following this plan, I will have quickly earned my five writing stars earning me more money for each article that I write. At the same time, I have built up a nice portfolio of articles that will generate me a little passive income. After the third month, I can choose how fast or slow I want to continue to write. Also, I need to rate at least one article per day to maintain my one rating star to get paid. Any additional rating is at my own discretion.

With a solid plan formulated, you will find that your writing comes more quickly. Choose topics you are familiar with and try not to spend more than 30 minutes on an article. In the end, if you are struggling to write an article, the topic is probably too foreign. Write about what you love and the words will flow on the page. Happy writing!
