When I hear French Onion Dip, I think, where's the spoon? I love it and could eat it plain. I grew up eating it the traditional way, with potato chips but since then have discovered many uses for it.
I like to add it to mashed potatoes or atop a baked potato or use it as a spread inside of wraps, or a chicken sandwich or one of my favorites, with a bacon cheeseburger. To me there is no right or wrong way to enjoy it, be creative and you may create a new and tasty way to enjoy your favorite french onion dip.
I stand by the old way of doing it. Two ingredients that's it. Good things don't have to be complicated.
1 16oz. container of sour cream ( your favorite )
1 pkg. onion soup mix ( your favorite )
That's it, just combine in a bowl and mix and enjoy!
