Seed on Sebastopol Avenue is a vegan restaurant. It serves a combination of cooked and raw foods. A brunch menu is also available. The atmosphere is friendly, with local art displays decorating the walls. They serve a variety of foods that first timers will enjoy, such as the vegan versions of Sloppy Joes and delicious chocolate desserts!
The portion sizes can be a little smaller than normal, but the food tastes good. They now have a Seed On The Go' next door, that only sells take out food, which is handy if you are in a hurry.
Govinda's
Govinda's is a lovely vegetarian establishment located on Mendocino Avenue. Their food is fresh and organic and they offer an all-you-can eat buffet. Their menu has an Indian feel to it, with a variety of international and fast food options. There is a small but satisfying salad bar and they are very vegan friendly.
The East West Cafe
The East West Cafe on Summerfield Road is a Mediterranean restaurant which caters for vegetarians. The menu has a lot of Greek style food too. They offer a wide range of vegetarian options, along with fish and chicken dishes. They also have a number of vegan desserts available. They are very accommodating and child friendly. Outdoor seating is available. This is ideal for a mixed group as there is a lot of choice for everyone and the staff are friendly.
Cyrus
Cyrus restaurant is located on North Street, Heraldsburg. It is the perfect place for a special occasion. It is a high-end establishment serving traditional French food along with Asian cuisine. There are set tasting menus which can be vegetarian or come with meat on request. These consist of five or eight courses which are accompanied by excellent customer service. You are sure to leave this restaurant satisfied, and with a lighter wallet!
Toyo Japanese Bistro
Japanese restaurants are a good idea for dining out in a mixed group. Their menus offer a variety of choices for vegetarians and everyone else.
Toyo Japanese Bistro on Marlow Road is an atmospheric restaurant with charming staff who are friendly and really take care of you. The menu offers a variety of food, with lots of options for vegetarians. The seaweed salad is a popular choice.
Sapporo
Sapporo is another Japanese restaurant which is found on 7th Street. They have a lot of vegetarian dishes, such as the delicious barbecue tofu skewers, and also offer take out. It is a good place for groups and is child friendly and casual with friendly staff.
Although Santa Rosa is not exactly renowned for their vegetarian restaurant scene, there is a variety of places that serve great food to suit all tastes. So if you feel like braving an all vegan menu or just want to go somewhere that offers vegetarians the menu choice they deserve, Santa Rosa has a lot to offer.
