There are many different brands of tuna on the market today and there are those that absolutely love this fish and want it as food staple in the cupboard.Its so convenient to have tuna in the pantry or the packets they make now where you can take them in your handbag and open it when ready to eat especially the ones thats lunch on the go with crackers and condiments.Then you have the fresh tuna the catch of the day which is even more delicious.

I have a recipe a very simple one that does have that high pizazz but is delicious just the same.

Serves 4

4 cans of tuna or 2 cups fresh tuna shredded

3-4 tablespoons mayonnaise

1/4 cup lemon juice or squeezed

1/2 cup finely chopped onion

salt and pepper to taste

optional:

hot sauce or cayenne

relish

Mix together and spread on your favourite bread(homemade)is the best!

Toasted or plain. Eat it on wedges of lettuce or top crackers.

when adding the lemon juice add a little at a time because you do not want the tuna

runny, just a good thick consistency.
