It was his eyes that first captivated me.
Blue-green like the great sea;
Sparkling like the stars in the midnight sky.
The touch of his skin on mine,
Soft as the fur of a kitten;
Delicate like the wings of a butterfly,
So consolatory and lulling.
The words he spoke,
Romantic beyond expectation;
Affectionate like in my dreams.
Exceeded everything I'd ever desired to hear;
He was everything I'd ever yearned for.
The words he spoke were genuine.
And even now he is true;
In every action rendered
And every spoken word;
He is mine as I am his;
Until the end of eternity.
