Build a Web site that will attract those interested in multilevel marketing or MLM. Draw a lot of interest by your choice of keywords. Let people know you know what you're talking about in the field of MLM/network marketing and business in general, but don't talk about your specific MLM business.
Forget about the oldschool methods of "make a list of 100 people and contact them all to show the Plan." That drives people away from you. You need to attract people who are looking for what you have to offer. That's why you are on the Internet.
In this time of increasing layoffs of quality employees, there will be many good, hardworking people who are frantically searching the 'Net for a busines opportunity. Be there and be prepared to tell them clearly why network marketing is a great option for creating a replacement income in a reasonable ammount of time for those who are given the right opportunity and methods.
Don't make wild income claims, but you can use testimonials from your teammates, but keep it generic.
Make sure you include affiliate links in your Web site, so that you can earn income from the information you offer through your site. There are a wide variety of e-books, training materials, Amazon.com links, and information on the tax benefits of setting up a network marketing business from home. Use these to let your visitors access worthwhile information while supporting your prospecting effort.
Offer a free e-book as an incentive for visitors to sign up for your newsletter, which should be emailed out monthly. The e-book should have a catchy title and offer very desirable information. This helps you build your contact list, which is essential in your online business.
Be sure that you are promoting a quality network marketing company, with no blemishes on its record. Ideally, it should be offering a product that is quickly understood - no scientific knowledge required. Even better, it needs to be able to be sampled so that the prospect can feel the benefits of the product withing minutes.
In today's scary economic environment, I would choose a product that was clearly a bargain compared with similar products available on the retail market. This is often not the case, with many network marketed products selling for quite a bit more than comparable products available at WalMart or your local health food store. High costs, together with increasing shipping costs will make it hard to defend
