Are you crazy?" Hui said, her eyes glaring at Vidya.
"The girl just sawed off her hand, then walked here, clearly she had a strong desire to be here versus a hospital! I am sorry, and I agree it's unfair that she just came to, but we need information about her. We don't know anything about her, how can we trust this person we just let into our home? For all we know she could be some sort of raving lunatic that may try to kill us."
"The girl, as you're so fond of calling her, is right there. Perhaps we should leave it up to her to decide whether or not to divulge her reasoning for being here." The mystery man returned, his presence not detected until then, causing the others to shift uneasy.
And that is when they all started to stare, waiting for a sign of how she was going to go. All eyes were drawn to hers and she had to stop herself from whimpering. So she decided, mostly to get the pressure off of her for at least a moment to speak.
"I understand your concerns, really I do. But I am not really sure as to what I can tell you. Most of what I do know is confusing and may very well give you proof of my insanity, if that truly is what is wrong with me. I mean you no harm, honestly. And I know that it may be difficult, or even impossible to trust me, but I am begging you to." The last thing she needed, or wanted was to explain her situation and be turned away. After all telling complete strangers that you think you may be possesed by some sort of horrifying demon was not exactly an ideal conversation. She wanted to find out more about them, just as much as they wanted to know about her and yet she knew that she needed to know certain information first before she divulged the circumstances surrounding her arrival. She could start to feel the pain dull away, as the drugs that this woman Vidya, had given her started to work.
"Very well then, perhaps our visitor needs some time to get to know us a bit more before she gives us the juicy details. That is understandable; after all she has only just met us. God, where are our manners, the girl must be starving since she hasn't ate in over twenty-four hours in the least. I'll go and make her something to eat so she doesn't die from lack of nutrition due to our lack of judgment."
