Dragonfly; for I follow
Your colors glisten, promoting your beauty
Your wings; prosperous and gentle, alike
I want to catch, capture, hold onto; forever
I seek you day and night, always by your side
Heart stills with your absence
I long for you; forevermore
Lie atop my palm and tickle its flow
Want to watch you grow; transform
Rest your weary eyes little one
I absorb your fear with intent
Intent to make you free from evil
I want to take you away; elsewhere
On an infinite journey; everlasting
Let's slip through this unconscious reality
Live free, co-exist with our whispering words
Words of love, truth, wisdom and desire
As we form one; only one of its kind
Irreplaceable, inimitable, we shall hover
Looking down upon a creation gone astray
Never off course or disoriented, remaining vigilant
Continuously evolving through time's freeze
Like a blistering pick liquefying ice
Come with me dragonfly; renounce your past.

Coming ever so close now for you to see me, almost as if to tease.
