The Best Video Games of All-Time! According to Me!

Even though I'm fifty years old now, I still play video games! I know it may seem silly to some. But I still enjoy them as much as when I first started playing them. There are several games that I really enjoyed playing, but I will condense the list down to my top three. Maybe some of you will remember them or, maybe not!

My number one game of all time was played on the original Nintendo. It originally came out in 1988, and it is Silent Service! This game was based on being a front-line Submarine Commander, during World War ll. Your task was to sink as many Japanese Destroyers. Battleships. and Aircraft Carriers as humanly possible! All though the graphics were top of the line at the time, Gamers of today would scoff at the poor quality compared to the graphics of today. I was introduced to this game by a friend, after I had back surgery, and was laid up for a while. By the time of my recovery, I was totally addicted to Silent Service. I haven't been able to find this game for the new gaming systems, or I would still be playing it to this day!

Second on my all-time list would have to be, B-17 Bomber Attack. It was played on the Intelevision game system of the late '70s. Again, the very top of the line in 1979. This game was based on flying your B-17 into the hostile Sky's of Occupied Germany. This game was one of the most realistic video games of it's day! It allowed you to switch to any position in the aircraft. From pilot, to waist gunner, to belly gunner, to bombardier, to tail gunner and back. The more damage your aircraft sustained from flak to enemy fighter attacks, the harder it became to fly. You could literally lose three of the four engines, and still return to land across the channel in England! This is another of those RPG's that I haven't found adapted to the new gaming systems.

Last, but most certainly not least was the original Zelda played on the original Nintendo game system, in 1988. Many were the hours wiled away playing Zelda in it's magical kingdom! This was a game that was totally addictive! I can honestly remember playing this game from daylight to dark and being griped at by my wife for wasting my time! Ha! She just didn't seem to realize that I was fighting the ultimate battle between good and evil! At least that was my explanation!

So, in conclusion. These are my All-Time top three. As far as today goes. My all time favorite for the new gaming systems has to be Call of Duty. I don't believe there is a more life like RPG on the market today, bar none!
