Disillusion
mass confusion
Preacher makes
his grand intrusion.
Borrowed faith
with buried lies
Steeples crumble
from the sky.
Holy books
with altered verses
Bound with all
their evil curses.
Sacred blood
from slaughtered beasts
Chosen hosts
for demons' feast.
Lonely searchers
in the dark
All brand themselves
with satan's mark.

Poetry: Demons

The Demon King
Restless shadows struggling wildly in the currents wind,
Icy fingers of death await the journeys end.

The words are slurred, your face is red
Heavy
A fire burns in the dark
A light for the darkened
A cold wind blows on high
Trees creak in the gust
A figure moves in
by Moeze Lalji
Demons
My boy
Are after children
Who go out
At night alone
Who don't do
Their homework
Who don't listen
To teachers and parents
What
by Lou Ruggieri

And another day dies, banished to memory
I slip into a world that used to be for dreams
