Do you often find yourself in a "brain fog?" Do you have trouble with memory, concentration, thinking, and/or experience anxiety or depression? If your answer to any or all of those questions is yes, then you need to read this article.
Your brain is a marvelous machine
While not quite weighing three pounds, your brain does a tremendous amount of work. In fact, if the brain were a computer, it would occupy a city block and be about three stories high. No computer can work as efficiently and smoothly as does your brain, and like the computer, when it has an issue, its ways of letting you know, should alert you to making life changes.
Another adage that has become a part of our language is "Junk in, junk out!" What you put in your body will have a marked effect on how your brain operates. Chemicals, transfats, corn syrups and sugars all affect your brain's operation. Beware of the chemicals in processed foods as well as additives. Drink bottled water.
Medications can also be damaging. We live in a society in which taking a pill is the answer to everything. Medications and chemicals build up in your body over time and stay in the tissues long after the medication clears your system. Never put anything into your body that is unnecessary.
Whatever you do to your body, you are doing to your brain. The key to getting the most out of your brain lies in getting the most out of your body. Each body system needs to operate at peak performance and then your brain will do so as well.

Be sure to eat protein for breakfast every morning!
You should also eat good carbohydrates such as fresh vegetables, whole grains, dried beans, and be sure to include vegetables with phytonutrients. These important vegetables provide the brain with important protections, aid in healing, and are anti-inflammatory. They also help with detoxing the body from environmental factors.
Consider taking supplements
Our early ancestors benefited from their hunter-gatherer lifestyle because the needed vitamins and minerals were present in the food they ate. In our day we suffer from two major factors which deplete the nutrients in our food,
