Prince
Where is the royal blue suit jacket
with big golden buttons dangling decadence
the horse-drawn carriage awaiting her every move
Prince on his knee holding crystallized foot wear
where could that be
traded for the chunky lump of so what
squatting on the couch
pants half way down
digging for some black gold
don't hold your breath
no timeless sheath holds his sword
what happened to the great protector
willing to vanquish an evil Deity
and ward off a horde of man-eating monsters
whose chain-mill is now Cheeto dust
lumbering snores distract her
looking at his big rotund ear propped up like a funnel
was she thinking of Prince charming or the king from Macbeth
