Earning money by being a stay at home mum
Is it really possible to make money on the internet? Many people would say no it is full of scams. But why do they think this, I mean you can do everything else online, why not make money. You can book a holiday, theatre tickets, tickets to see Madonna, do your shopping, check the weather, do an online course, chat to friends, you name it,you can do it over the internet. Making money online is a real possibility too if you know where to look. There are several different possibilities each with their own advantages and disadvantages.
1) Paid to click/Paid to read
There are literally thousands of these type of sites on the internet, some pay and some do not. The whole concept is based on advertising, and you are paid normally one cent for each ad you click, or even less for each mail you read. Not a get rich quick scheme by any means, and one I would recommend avoiding. As soon as these sites start up and entice members into buying premium memberships and referrals they close up shop and the admin runs with your money, definitely avoid the high paying sites. In saying that there are a few trusted ones, namely Neobux, Incentria and Wordlinx. With regards to paid emails I would recommend No-minimum which has been around for years. I still use Neobux but do not feel my time should be wasted with such low paying opportunities.
2) Paid autosurfs/HYIPs
These are high risk investment sites where you invest anything from $1 to $10 000 and have the possibility of making anything from 0.1% to 15% daily depending on the site in question. Ninety-nine percent of these sites are scams. They pay people initially to lure them into investing big and then they stop paying and once again mr admin runs away with a substantial profit. Here again though you can play admin at his own game. At the start of these sites lifecycle admin pays regularly so you can invest big at the start, and then only invest some of your profits so that you will always be at a gain. I do know of some people who play this game extremely well and do make quite a large sum of cash on a regular basis, unfortunately I am not lucky enough to be one of them. This is another opportunity I would avoid unless you like the excitement involved with taking risks.
3) Paid to post
Another type of site where I began my internet money making, It all started with mylot where you are paid 1-2 cents for starting discussions, responding to discussions and posting images to accompany your discussions. It will not earn you a living but the advice and friends I made at this site are well worth more than money. I learnt all about money making here and it is the reason I am writing this article. I still do some paid to post, but now it is for paid forums where I am paid anything from 5-20 cents. This is still not a great deal of money but more than the 1 cent clicks or 1 cent for posting discussions. I would recommend this earning site to anyone but make them aware you will not quit your day job for it.
4) Paid to write
My favourite pastime and not only that I get paid for doing it. My number one writing site is of course Helium, although I do write a little for Triond and Associated Content. I am trying to branch out and write for other sites, and also do individual articles for website owners. This market is so competitive but there are many many places where you can submit articles. A few examples of higher paid sites are Brighthub, and Demand Studios. Additionally you can write stories, jokes, cooking recipes, anything at all and submit them to magazines. Magazine writers are very well paid. How about having your own weekly column, how fun would that be.
5) Paid to blog
There are numerous sites which pay you to write a short blog post. I am a member of two such sites, Today.com and Getpaidfrom.us. Today.com pays me $1 per 100 word post daily as well as pageviews, while Getpaidfrom.us pays depending on traffic. The more traffic you get the more you earn. The site divides up the total Google adsense revenue between all the bloggers depending on how popular your blog is. It is a fun way to earn and I love the social aspect of it as you get to message and comment on other people's blogs. These are only two blogging opportunities and I know there are many more but I picked these two as I have experience of them.
Other ways of earning are through paid surveys, Google adsense and Affiliate marketing. You can get paid for doing anything it seems, but you must be wary and not pay any money to join programs. These programs are likely to be scams and you will lose your hard earned cash as well as time
