Where to buy a good guitar
Article ToolsThe best method for buying a good guitar is to look around. Music shops are meant for selling their wares to you . If they don't want you to play their guitars then they don't want to sell their products. Play every guitar before you decide that you like it. I stress that buying from stores is the best way.
Buying from the internet can be a tricky business because you never know what the guitar's quality is; if it has any damages; or if it has been damaged in the mail. If you have a friend who has played guitar for a long time, or has another friend who has, then ask them to help choose a guitar.
Used guitars are okay, in some cases. But most of the time they can be more hassle than their worth. Often the owner of a used guitar is just trying to sell the instrument as fast as possible for the best price he or she can get.
So in view of what's been stated. Do your research. Play the guitar. Get advice from someone who knows. Buy the guitar.
