do this at home, you wonder? It's a lot more fun doing it on company time and getting paid for it. Her other annoying habit is she's on the phone with personal calls whenever she isn't busy ordering online.
6. The Little Boss
This person has a definite problem. Although they are not a supervisor and have no authority over anyone, they are constantly ordering people around and telling them what to do. Co-workers rightfully want to kill them, but the best way to handle the situation is to ignore them.
7. The Know-It-All
Everyone is familiar with this type. They exist at all workplaces. One has to wonder why, if they know so much, are they just another one of the herd, instead of the boss. Why don't they start their own business and make everyone at their current place of employment happy?
8. The Office Gossip
The office gossip knows more about you than you do; and it's unfortunate because they will spread it all over, even to people who don't know you. This is one of the very worst employees a company can have and can cause terrible damage unless they are stopped.
9. The Incompetent
This one should have never been hired in the first place because they can't perform the job they were hired to do. They probably fudged their experience on their resume, too. They may be able to be salvaged with some training; but if not, they will just have to go.
10. The Boss's Best Friend
The boss's best friend can be a real killer because you know they are reporting everything you say back to your boss. Be careful, or you'll soon find yourself called on the carpet.
There are lots of other types of bad employees, as well; but this group is hard to beat as "worst employees." If you're a co-worker and smart, you will have as little to do with them as you can. If you're the boss, you'll have to deal with these misfits who, by now, you are probably regretting hiring.
