Poetry: Walking with God

by Grace Fox

Created on: January 25, 2009

The lightening of another day

Strikes me where I stand.

I do not wish to survive.

He listens to my cry.

He answers but I refuse to hear.

Deaf to His voice

Blind to His Light

Mute to His heart

Unfeeling to His Love

Refusing to taste His blood.

He screams to me in many ways

I turn my back

When will I learn?
