Runaways And Throwaways
Some of them need a Mother,
Some of them need a Dad.
All of them need this one thing,
A love they never had.
Some of them ran away from home,
Some of them had to leave.
All of them, even if they could stay,
Have little hearts that grieve.
You'll find them living on the streets.
You'll find them in the parks.
No matter where you find them,
They'll be carrying broken hearts.
They need a friend, a loving hand.
They need someone to trust.
Reach out and show them that you care.
No one else will, we must.
Runaways and throwaways,
People no one loves.
Reach out and show them that you care.
No one else will, we must.

Poetry: Running away
In my dream death is near
I am caught in the depths of fear
I am gasping, running ever faster
Hoping to avoid my own disaster
I wonder how far I can go
before I turn around,
I wonder how long until
she hunts me down,
I wonder if they're still
fighting
We've got nineteen miles until we hit the state line
Once we hit the open road I will be just fine
We've gotta get away, we
Getting Away
You're
getting
away
'Can't take it anymore
Once you step outside
you will be closing the door
for
good
But that
the car blazes down the road
it makes the pressure a lighter load
she sets off into the sun
loving the feeling of the run
