Are Scotty Cameron putters worth the money?

Yes! Yes they are!

A Scotty Cameron putter as defined by Scotty himself "the putter, the idea was, when it's finished, it should look like it melts into the ground". This has been accomplished.

Scotty Cameron putters are the most used putters on the PGA Tour. They have the most Majors won since 1999. Yes PGA Tour professionals probably get their Scotties for free however putting accounts for nearly half of their strokes and they can not afford to give any of those strokes away. So in saying that, a tour professional uses the putter that is going to make the most putts. Thus, that is why Scotty Camerons are the most widely used putter in all tours, they are the best.

A Scotty Cameron putter starts as a thought, a dream and a concept. A Dream, that is the true meaning of a Scotty Cameron putter. From there it becomes a prototype. It is tested by man and machine (computer) to ensure that it is as accurate as it should be to shoulder the name Scotty. No putter that is flawed in any way ever reaches the market.

A great golfer is a great putter. In order to be a great putter you need great feel. That is what Scotties are all about providing those special moments. You know that moment! The moment you stroke the ball and it starts rolling end over end towards the hole. You didn't even feel the moment of contact, the ball just rolled away from you. You know it's in, you don't have to look, just start walking and pick that ball out of the hole. That is the feeling you get with every stroke of a Scotty Cameron.

Whether you have a Newport, Circa, Futura, Studio Select or any other model, you can be sure that you have perhaps one of the greatest pieces of work to ever grace a golf course.

Scotty Cameron brags that his putters have the softest feel, allowing you, the user to feel the ball as if your putter is just an extension of your body.

I have a collection of 5 Scotty Camerons. Each one is special in its own way. However no matter which one I have in my hands they feel natural. They help me feel that the hole is eight inches wide. The design of the head coupled with the aiming lines and target lines almost make aiming an act of instinct, not a battle accelerated by guessing. You place the putter behind the ball and the natural design make the ball the focus point and not the putter. Which is fitting, since you have to get the ball in the hole not the putter.

I believe that anyone who plays a round with a Scotty will fall in love with it and will realized they should never be without one again.

So get out there and try one, yes try one before you buy it. There are several types, models and heights so find out which one is best for you.

But good luck trying to borrow one, not many Scotty owners are willing to share!
