Whether you are an avid sports fan or a person simply looking for something to do, Huntsville, Alabama offers professional level sports for your enjoyment. You will find a sporting event in every month of the calendar. Huntsville, Alabama also has a few professional sports that visit the city annually.

Each one of Huntsville's teams are very competitive and strive for excellence each season. Whether you enjoy hockey, football, or baseball you will find that you may become "hooked" after your first game. Also each sport offers short intermissions that are entertaining and most of the time humorous. All of Huntsville's professional sports are family oriented so it is okay to bring the kids.

The Huntsville Havoc is a part of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) and they play at the Von Braun Center Arena. During each of the intermissions, the Havoc has children and adults participating in a variety of games to win prizes. You will also see the mascots, Chaos and Rukus, dancing and entertaining the crowd.

At a Havoc game you will find a variety of food vendors. Drinking is allowed, but you must go to the designated table with a valid government issued ID and receive an armband before you are allowed to purchase any alcoholic beverages. Aside from food vendors, you will also find cell phone vendors and Havoc merchandise for sale.

The Havoc is known for its work with Charities as well. Such charities include the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

There are various ticket options to choose from. If you just want to buy tickets per game you have three options. The first option is the Gold option. The tickets are $17 for adults and $15 for youth, seniors, and military. The next option is the Silver option. The tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for youth, seniors, and military. The last option is the Mezzanine option. This is for those that wish to sit in the top levels of the arena. The tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for youth, seniors, and military.

There are season tickets available. Half season packages include 15 games. This consists of all twelve Saturday games and three select games. Gold Level tickets are $215, Silver Level tickets are $190, and Mezzanine Level tickets are $155. Full season packages include all 30 Home games.
