The first time that it happened
I could see how she was charmed;
He seemed like a nice person
Til he caused all this harm.
I soon came to my senses,
Began to understand
Despite all I had ever thought,
He wasn't a good man,
So I erased him from my life,
And learned to live alone;
A lonely only child
In a single-parent home.
The second time it happened,
I got a bit annoyed;
I was sick of being thrown around
And played with like a toy.
But I think she really loves him;
He's set up camp in her heart.
And I think she'll keep on loving him,
As he tears her child apart.
