Digg is a website dedicated to spreading information.

Digg as defined by itself on its homepage ; "Digg is a place for people to discover and share content from anywhere on the web. From the biggest online destinations to the most obscure blog, Digg surfaces the best stuff as voted on by our users. You won't find editors at Digg we're here to provide a place where people can collectively determine the value of content and we're changing the way people consume information online."

Digg has become one of the greatest websites on the net. It has the ability to put information in the readers hands in the matter of seconds. It is very quick to find results in any search. If you are adding articles to Digg you will find the website to be very user friendly and will easily post anything you want in a matter of seconds the very first time you attempt to do so!

I love the site. I use it daily and I know of entire office buildings that use it as there main information provider. It has altered the way I do business and has cut my research time down to minutes rather than hours. I do believe that it has the same result for people all throughout the world. People and businesses would be lost if Digg was to be lost, even for a short period of time.

However. I feel that Digg needs to be Dugg up. Not drastically, just a little.

First I do believe that the pages are to congested. I find that there are to many headers in blue and find that much of the information is blended in because of this. I believe it would be better for all, if the headers were in one color and the "Top in all Topics " were in another. I think if Digg was to distinguish between the headlines and the lead just a little, overall user satisfaction would rate near the maximum.

Second I also think that the "upcoming titles" roll through to quickly and perhaps a little more time (seconds) could be dedicated to each one. I realize that there are thousands of upcomings rolling through but perhaps the solution is to run two columns of them at the same time by cutting the screen in half. This would limit the amount of topics that would be missed by the users.

I am not asking for much, for I do love the sight and believe it is near perfect. If you have read this and believe as I do that Digg is in need of a slight overhaul, then help me send a message to Digg and hit the Diggit. If not well then thanks for reading this and I wish all a great Digg.
