Sea Beginnings
The Sea is the keeper, of a world of mystery,
Saline secrets, ages gone, of where we used to be.
Slapping our shores, and rolling our sands
Beyond the horizons of a common lands.
Carry our vessels of peace, fun, and war.
Cradle marine life, feathered and more.
Feeds the Earth, from its wavy bosom,
While thrashing stormy, top to bottom.
Out of its shallows, the first life crawled.
The image indicative of one for us all.
Back to the Sea, is where we'll one day be.
At the mercy of the Deep, too far to see...
