Recipes: Oatmeal cookies

by Lorelei Cohen

Created on: January 24, 2009

These Dads Oatmeal Cookies are truly scrumptious. The smell when they are baking radiates throughout the house, it is delightful, and has each person in the household innocently wandering through the kitchen hoping for a taste.

These Dads Oatmeal cookies really do have a different swing to them than the typical Oatmeal cookie. With a hint of coconut added in to the mix, it adds just that slight taste sensation to the oatmeal in these cookies, and that makes these cookies truly unique in taste. Their texture is amazing, their taste is fantastic, and they are just an absolutely, unbelievably delicious cookie. They had me hooked from the first nibble, I had to ask for the recipe, and I am sure glad that I did. Now I pass this "Dads Oatmeal Cookie Recipe" on to you as I am sure that you and your family will enjoy these special cookies too.
