Why do marriages fail? Are some marriages doomed from the start? Why are more and more marriages failing today?
How do you stay together? Who failed who? Will the next marriage fail as well as the first?
Marriages fail for quite a number of reasons. When there is no trust, a marriage bond is broken down and different elements are allowed in. For if I can not trust you, then, there will be someone outside I will seek to trust and that should not be. Trust between two that are married is sacred and today some couples forget that, they would rather share conversations with others than confiding with their own spouses. This person you have married is your heart and soul, you must trust each other with no second thoughts.
Not communicating, is very damaging to a marriage, causing it to fail. Without communication, there is no idea of how one or the other is doing. Communicating is always a means to envelope one another closer together bring edification. Talking to me, lets me know that you are interested in me and I am interested in you. It is very sad to see married couples who do not talk to each other.
Doing things together is a wonderful way of saving a marriage from failing. For when you do not make the time for each other, and find yourselves slowly growing apart, you each are in your own world.
When you do not have each others best interests at heart, then we no longer have a marriage. Some marriages seem to be in state of failure before the vows are even spoken when the kids are against it. Today, time is not of importance in saving a marriage, for without time for one another, you are just two people occupying a home that once was filled with people that made the time for one another.
Some jump from one failed marriage to another, due to the fact, they did not take the time to find out what happened in the last one, what made everything seem to go haywire. Who failed who? It takes two to tango, a marriage is between two and a breach between two people is no one the shoulders of one individual. There is no place for failure in marriages today and yet, instead of facing the problem head on, we let failure stamp us on the forehead with giving up and looking elsewhere. Whatever happened to the days of a man finding a good wife, not a woman chasing a man to get him to marry her. Why do couples get married to begin with? Is it love or something else? It does make a difference in the approach to marriage, seeking God and his will for your life, for if it is meant to be, it will happen, but I really believe that a man should take the reins and find the woman.
