Best value online degrees

Are you still dreaming of going to college? If you are, why haven't you? Eeveryone would answer that question differently. Are you low on time, money? Perhaps You have a lack of transportation. Today's economy might have some bearing, too. With gas prices rising again and ourwhole economic structure hanging by a thread many may choose to forego a college education. Thus, there is on line education. Guidelines prohibit naming the university, but here are some advantages to taking classes on line.

The best value I found was a university where you don't have to pay fees for textbooks, or to graduate. The class schedule is simple. A week constitutes a unit and each unit runs from Wednesday to Tuesday with on-line seminars arranged so that students attend on a day and at a time that is convenient for him or her. Not only that, but the instructors are easily accessable either on IM, during "Office Hours," or anytime via email. An academic adviser and tech support are also available. You are never further than your phone or computer away from assistance

It's a great value. It saves time and there are no crowd to fight, except the one in your own home. Your schedule is your own. It can be easily fitted in between work, family, and other obligations. It's never easy to juggle our responsibilities, but on-line classes help relieve the pressure that going to a traditional campus would cause.

Another advantage is to hearing impaired students. Some, if not all of the information is on the screen in seminars so, those with hearing problems get lost less. It is a tremendous plus. No one likes to feel left out and with on-line classes there's no reason to feel that way.

Like most everything, long distance learning isn't for everyone. Each must decide for oneself. But in this fast-paced society it could be just the thing for some. So, weigh the pros and cons. Think of ways you can make it work, then look on the Internet, get information on the ones that both interest you and offer what you are interested in studying.

If your idea of value includes any of the above, then long distance learning and an on-line degree might be for you. As with many things in life, you get out of an education only what you put into it. Weather on campus, or on line, a degree is a precious commodity. It isn't free, but it cannot be taken away. Knowledge is power. An education lasts a lifetime.
