January has been an exciting month for all Americans. We brought in a new year with celebration and happiness. We witnessed the Inauguration of the 44th President of the United States with hope that He will bring about a change in our economic situation. The New Bail Out Plan is still being worked on, but while the negative rumors fly, let us look at the positive.

This plan will give responsible banks the money to stop foreclosures on millions of Americans. This in itself will be helpful so those people can stay in their places of employment raise their children and not be in the clutches of the banks that put them in Adjustable Rate Mortgages or Balloons. They will also require lenders to have reports for the government. Therefore, maybe it is kind of like Big Brother watching over them, but better that than millions of people losing their homes.

The Bill will not let Credit Card Companies allow offering credit to those who cannot pay it back. So things will tighten up a bit, but as the old adage goes; "if you cannot pay cash then you do not need it."

The automobile Companies will receive money to build more energy efficient cars. They will be seeking new types of energy and fuel replacements. Some Companies already have electric cars out on the market; others still working on them. This means more jobs as they continue to look for fuel replacements.

The Bail Out Does Include a Stimulus Package so not to worry, we will have money to spend. Well not a lot maybe only $1000 or $500 but that is enough to go to a restaurant for a meal, pay a payment or just put food on the table.

President Obama and the Congress have initiated in this package to bring all schools up to the Twenty-first Century. That means new labs in old schools and making sure that all schools are equal. This is very important to our children as we move forward. So many of the books and computers are out dated, some do not even have money for computers in our schools. It is time someone looked into this for all people, not just the wealthy. The school budget will also add to Pell grants for higher education, Student Loans Increase and Work Study Programs for people in undergraduate and graduate Programs. He is making the schools better for our children and grandchildren and making it possible for the advancement of all people. There will also be money for Head Start programs and Title I and for disadvantaged children. There will be money set aside for disabled children and their schooling needs
