Poetry: I can't stand you

by T.R. Mintz

Created on: January 23, 2009   Last Updated: May 18, 2012

I can't tolerate the way you beg for attention and force yourself into the spotlight.
I dislike how you drown me out and always think I'm wrong and you're right.

I hate your biting words and critical stares.
I loathe the way you brag and whine and stab me with glares.

You ask me why I don't talk to you anymore,is it something you do?
I don't talk to you anymore because...I can't stand you.
