There are a few basic writing tips to follow for any successful writing venture. These are to write well, to write often, check your grammar and your spelling, insure sure that your research is accurate, and insure that your sources are cited at the foot of each of your articles.
Consider writing to be similar to a job interview, you get one chance to make a good first impression, so make sure that that important first meeting leaves a great impression of you. Follow a few tips for successful on-line writing and you can greatly improve the performance of your on-line articles.
On-line writing is a little different than writing Hard copy because it relies heavily on actually having your articles found by the people you hope will read them. This is where most on-line writers fail. There are two gigantic mistakes that a lot of writers make when they enter into the world of on-line writing, and these are what holds them back from ever becoming a success out on the World Wide Web. This despite the countless hours of creative work that they put into trying to make themselves a visible presence in Cyberland.
The first mistake that many On-line writers make is that they forget to make use of keywords within their URL, title and article. Keywords are those all important words that people type into the Internet search boxes. These Keywords are the items that people are searching for in Cyberland, and the very words that the Search Engine Robots are looking for, when they direct these same people toward what they are looking for on the Internet. If those important words are prominently displayed in your article then that old Robot is going to send these searchers in your direction, which means that you will have them visiting your article! So make sure that your URL, title and article focus on the keywords that portray your article!
Mistake number two, and one that so very many Internet Writers make, is that they use a different alias or name on every site that they write, work, blog, comment or participate on. They waste the hundreds upon thousands of chances that they come across every day to get their name out there on the Internet. They throw away their opportunity to make their name visible in Cyberland! Google is the big boy out there when it comes to Internet Search Engines so make sure that you get that old Robot paying attention to your site!
To get Google's attention you have to do something that unfortunately a lot of other Internet Writers forget or neglect
