A prayer of fruition. Desiring that we'll always somehow come to that point that we've realized we've grown, leads us past a point of struggle. Usually a long one. The moment you realize through talking to someone or yourself, you've passed the point you pivoted again and again and again. Two left feet. Organizing thoughts allows you to put your tunnel (of thoughts) into perspective, instead of stubbornly proclaiming you've passed that point that you usually found yourself stuck. In admitting you have an obstacle, course you need to run and overcome is ultimately the first step. Admitting allows a certain freedom, to you, your conscious thought and your underlying self. The self you sometimes or even often don't realize, whether purposely or subconsciously, purposefully or ultimately because you're just hiding. Either way, you're avoiding and lying; to yourself and God. Lying to God, makes no sense at all. If you lie to him, you're lying to everybody, including most of all, yourself. No avoiding it.
I'm not an expert, but I have found it useful, most recently, that prayer, even the smallest of prayers are answered. I remember as a young girl, I mean childlike years ( 5 yrs. Old) I prayed that I would do God's will, and that no matter the obstacles or troubles that would come, that he would make sure I did not get in my own way, ultimately. Long story short, I got in my own way, BUT not ultimately. I'm not so afraid that I've spoken too soon either. I'm not that old. Still in my twenties, but I've experienced enough to know I could have gone a lot further had it not been remembering my prayer. It's only after praying about my current bouts (at the time) and those prayers being answered, that my previous prayer from 5 years old, came back to me. I'm learning. And I know God will not hold that against me as long as repent. As human beings I believe that He's placed us on this earth to learn. Knowledge is a good thing. But all the knowledge in the world will not afford you more than knowing yourself. Overcoming fears and setbacks will ultimately show you your strength and your will. Succumbing to power greater than yourself is humility needed in learning yourself. What and who you submit to tells you a lot about yourself. All great leaders were followers at some point. Whether the student eventually becomes more equipped than the teacher is not the point. Its that everyone starts somewhere. And (if I may add) that often shows the knowledge of a good teacher. Sometimes
