The Creator Source, God, if you will, in IT's infinite Wisdom, has not created anything that is not perfect in every way, shape or form. And .. that includes Satan. God has maintained balance in our world. There is hot and cold, good and bad, fact and fiction ~~ all manifestations of the Divine.
Everything that God has created is in IT's likeness. This means all things, both animate and inaminate. God has designed it so that all things have balance, even for ITself. There is God (good) and there is Devil (evil). We have been given free will to choose between the two, to choose which experiences we need to help us grow toward our personal betterment.
When we look at the heirarchy of things in our lives, we begin to see all experiences as either good or bad. I see them as all neutral. I believe that removing ourselves from the left or right, right or wrong, and walking the razor's edge, the middle road, if you will, is the real path to Godliness because ... this is balance.
Creator God gave us the ability to choose; however, if we move too far to either side of the middle places us out of balance. Did Jesus really say that those who were neither hot nor cold would be spit out of his mouth? I don't believe it was said with that intent. I believe it was just the opposite. I believe that Jesus knew the delicacy of walking the razor's edge and did so throughout his life.
There are those who believe that Satan is a deity on par with God. When you look at it from a place of balance, this statement then becomes true. However, when you see Satan as being a creation of God, that places satanism under God and as such, an entity unto itself. Satan, or the essence attributed to Satan is in opposition to God and God's essence. Satan is the balance, or counterpart to the attributes of God. Where Satan is dark, God is of the Light. Where Satan is hate, God is love. Where Satan is said to inhabit Hell in fire and tribulation, God is said to live in the Heavens in joy and beauty.
Yes, the Creator God created Satanism to effect balance. Now, it is up to man to decide which to incorporate into its own beingness. Soul needs all experience in order to move itself forward along the continuum. In order to understand love, Soul must experience hate. This is where Satan comes in to the picture to teach the negative side of the positive side, to give the balance to the experience and allow Soul the full experience.
