Inexpensive ways to dress like a model

For years American women have look up to models as fashion icons and idols. Many of those women have always aspired to achieve that super model look, but they just don't have the "super model budget". If you are one of those women do not fear! By the end of this article, you will have the knowledge of a fashion designer and the savvy of a model.

Inexpensive ways to dress like a model:

Technique # 1.
Have you ever wonder how models look so amazing in their clothes? How the piece seems to be made just for them. Well, that my dear starts with tailoring. Many models have their clothes tailored to fit, but I have a way for you to find clothes that "fit like a glove" with out trailing your way to the local seamstress.
Take your body measurements.
Measure your bust, waist, hips, even your arms and legs. Write these numbers down on a small sheet of paper and place inside your wallet. The next time your surfing through a catalog, go to the size chart and locate your measurements to find your appropriate size. (For you ladies that have a hang-up about the number on your clothing tag, you need to get over it! No one is going to fish their hand down your clothes and take a peek at your size! The number on the tag shouldn't matter, as long as the item of clothing fits you nicely and compliments your body.). Or you can choose to go to a clothing store and ask one of the sales associates for the location of the clothing that matches with your body measurements. Don't be ashamed to take measuring tape along with you to apparel shops, its YOUR money, buy what fits you right. OF course, the best way to find out if clothes fit you properly is to try them on and not get discouraged if they don't have the fit you desired, simply get another size or style or just go to another store. Please Please Please DO NOT buy clothes that are too small or too big in hopes of achieving a certain style. Models buy their clothes to fit properly and so should you.

Technique # 2.
Find out which colors compliment your the best.
Models wear the colors that make their skin glow and make them seem like a radiant fashion god.

Technique # 3.
Keep up with the trends.
You can do this by simply browsing threw the latest magazines. Or you can choose the "free way" by subscribing to as many free women's clothing catalogs as you can (which often hold clues to the next "big thing" in fashion and contain unique clothing items and accessories). Or you can simply browse the internet for
