She Calls To Me:
Across this open country,
Through the fields each day,
I walk in solitude,
And tarry long my way.
And each night as I sleep,
I see her in my dreams,
As I lay there in the darkness,
I feel her call to me.
As I wake up in the morning,
I remember times gone by,
I think about my hearts true place,
And in my soul I cry.
All day I dream about a time,
When her beauty again I'll see,
And every moment of my life,
The sea, she calls to me.

Twilight approaches

Upon the dull gray sand.

Deep rolling undercurrents filled with barnacles and old timber
Seashells and sand migrating with the pull of moon's limber

Into frothy, rabid clutches sink
flocks of steaming young and old in horror.
Too dark to see in those coal

Silent rows of angry waves
Slap against the bow.
With just the movement of the stars
To show time is passing now.
