Many are looking for God. They want to meet Him. They want to question Him. They want His help in their time of need. They want His good will and His good favor. The question is how does mankind find God?

God is the Creator, the Ruler of the Universe, and is far more supreme than man. We recognize in ourselves a desire and need to worship God and to find favor with Him. But we fear that we are not in favor.

Many have come in the name of God. They tell us what we must do to win God's favor. We may follow these for a time, until it proves futile. Then we seek another who will tell us how to find God.

The world's religions are filled with thoughts about God and about how to find God. Many worship in sincerity of heart and mind, but they do not find Him. All paths do not lead to God. Only the path He chooses leads us to Him. If God is the Supreme Being and Ruler of the Universe, then He decides how mere man can come to Him.

We know in our hearts that man has offended God and He has turned His back on man, for He hates our wickedness. We have violated His laws and are deserving of the punishment He sees fit to administer to us. Our fear of Him and His punishment drives us to good works, hoping to appease an angry God, yet we're never sure if we have.

Yet Jesus by His very words tells us that we can be reconciled to God. The Bible in the Old Testament records the Torah, the words of the prophets, and the writings. In the New Testament, it records the teachings, words, and works of Jesus, the letters to the churches by Paul, the Apostles, and others, and the Book of Revelation. From the Bible we can learn what Jesus said about himself.

Jesus the Christ says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." (John 14:6 KJV)

How could Jesus make such an extraordinary claim? He backed up his words with physical evidence. The Bible records many miracles Jesus performed with extraordinary power. Many witnesses followed Jesus who told what they saw and heard. A group of twelve men, called the Apostles, were with Jesus for three years and they too told what they heard and saw.

Jesus gave an explanation of how these things occurred. He claimed that God was His Father and gave Him the power to perform miracles and to forgive sin. He said, "Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? For whether is easier, to say, thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, arise and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then
