There is no God!
The reason we are here is one long string of co-incidences called evolution. There is no obvious reason for us to be here and there is no purpose.
The same goes for dying. When the light switches off, there is no more. No conscience. No second life. No heaven. No hell. Nothing.
All of this does not mean that we shouldn't be good to each other. I am a firm believer in being loving everybody and everything around me and treating everything with respect. I try not to lie, cheat or in any other way do anything that may harm or upset the people I love - and the ones I don't.
I agree that without good there would be no evil - and vice versa, but that doesn't mean that there is a God? Does it? Some people will inevitably do bad things which will hurt others. That's just the way it is. The best way to fight evil is by being good - again, I do not need a God to help me do this and I do not need a book of rules to teach me these fairly simple lessons.
