Faith is such a solid yet confusing matter. How much faith does anyone really have in anything, sometimes just the smallest thing can create doubt. As a Christian if you doubt yourself are you loosing faith or being human? What does it mean to give up hope? Do we stop trying to be good and succumb to the ways of the world? What are the ways of the world and who decides that they are worldly ways?
Confusion is nothing new on the journey of life with every human being searching for meaning and purpose. Once you understand who you are and what you are meant to do, once that task is complete, life is done, you have fulfilled your purpose. When you go through life's journey wondering who you are and what you're doing here, you spend so much time trying to figure that out, that sometimes the whole point is missed. Are Christians listening for direction, waiting to hear from God or are they actually living the Good news and preparing for the second coming.
The judgmental person always has something to say regardless of how it may effect another person, does anyone really know how haunting words can be unless they have been haunted themselves. That's where faith comes in. If you believe in nothing, you are at risk of falling for anything. The term doormat comes to mind. Where do we draw the line. If life is about people and our relationships with people is what creates doubt which of the two can we live without. Faith giving us hope for a better tomorrow? Or people? Who if we are to be lonely islands leaves us with no one to share the faith or life (whatever that may mean). Therefore one cannot be without the other. The bible says to put your trust in no man but God only which leaves us continously doubting our fellow man. Faith is a constant challenge, especially through trials of life when you may feel abandoned alone and you turn to God and all you here about is patience as your suffering and anger continues. To continue with patience is a difficult task but with faith creating hope as a Christian you have to believe, don't you?
