Speech after speech, many adults try to down talk audiences by giving a speech that many don't understand. A speech that is supposed to sink into your mind and make you buy or call something or someone that can help you. These days with our television you don't need to hear these speeches, now they sell there services with these lines, lines that are so catching and remain in your head after the commercials. All the way back to the 1990's, commercials are still in my thoughts, why? They have catchy lines, lines that you scream or sing. Why are these lines memorable, well it's been years and I still find myself singing them in the shower.
For example, food products have some catchy lines. Macaroni and cheese, back in the day they had a dinosaur and children would sing that they've got the blues. Don't remember, heres their line, "I've got the blues craft macaroni and cheese, I've got the blues." This product had over five commercials, advertising the blues for this yummy dinner. Also cereals are common for these line, for example Foot Loops," Follow your nose wherever it goes." Trix, "silly rabbit Trix are for kids." "I'm coco for Coco Puffs". Besides for cereal how about Skittles, "taste the rainbow". There are dozens of memorable lines in commercials that sell foods. My favorite is Activia, singing "I'm coming out, I want the world to know got to let it show". The funny thing is iv'e bought all of these products because their songs popped in my head, when I'm thinking of a grocery list.
Another memorable line on television comes from businesses. Our friendly gecko for geico, "so easy a caveman can do it" Geico has funny, excellent ads. Need money now, well screaming from all windows for Cash now "it's my money and I need it now, it's your money use it when you need it". How about that "screaming inflatable blow up guy". My favorite business line is "No matter what the weather TriCounty makes it better". From talking animals for pet stores and insurances like Aflac, to individuals like you and I, these companies find a way to catch our attention with lines that never leave you alone. I have found my self seeing a logo on the road and I start singing one of their commercials. Speaking of these lines, right now tax time, let hit the east button with H&R block" hey that was easy". Especially right now the the economy so horrible you may start thinking of checking your credit, and bam " should've gone to free credit report. com I could've seen it coming at me like an atom bomb" and on and on. Free credit report.com has many sing along commercials, have come in handy for myself. Some day if you haven't already, you'll find yourself buying something or needing help, and one of these songs or phrases will pop up and you'll have your answer.
You do not only have to watch movies to here some great catch lines, but the television has new ones every day. I love watching television, and the breaks between the shows are either better or as funny as the show itself. These lines may not be worth money or could help you in a relationship, but their there to help to through life, and all the ups and downs you'll encounter, but they can help you out of your problems. Just don't forget to watch the commercials some day you'll need some help and I'll be singing,"Mark and Morgan we are for the people"
