I have a lot of trouble trying to figure out why everyone is so fascinated with Lindsay Lohan. It's not just Lindsay Lohan of course; it is all the free-spirited celebrities that think that they can get away with anything they want because they are rich, famous and beautiful.

Lindsay Lohan is obviously starving for attention and can never get enough. She may pretend to hate the attention because that fits the persona of her "girl-gone-wild" status . She's not supposed to show that she likes the attention, so everything has to be candid. If she didn't want the attention then she wouldn't be out in public getting completely hammered and slutting it up at the club.

How do you think she continues to be a conversation piece? I can tell you one thing; it's certainly not from her outstanding appearance in "The Parent Trap" or any other movie that she has been in. Just the fact that I can't think of a movie off of the top of my head with her in it proves that it is not her acting that makes her famous; it is her sheer stupidity and love for attention. If she wasn't good looking then nobody would give two excrements about her at all, they would just look at her as another failed product of society but the fact that she is good looking (and maybe a lesbian) makes her appear on the front of all kinds of magazines and puts her in the center of the media attention.

These self-destructive ways are just a way of her waving her hands in the air and saying "look at me, look at me!" What can you expect? She was a child actor.

If we look back at the actors who started their careers as children, it becomes obvious that it has some type of negative effect on most of their lives. Most child actors end up with drug problems because they suddenly aren't the cute little kids that they were before, but are still being constantly reminded of how cute they used to be. They need to escape their younger selves and mature but it is hard for them to do this while constantly being portrayed in the spotlight. There is no way that they can have a normal childhood, and over the years we have seen the effect of an awkward childhood. Michael Jackson is not just a coincidence. Unfortunately, most child actors like Lindsay Lohan end up looking even less mature than they were as a kid because they throw all caution to the wind and think that they should be aloud to do anything that they want to do. Given all the trouble she has gotten herself into but somehow gets off (pun not intended), you can see that our society is allowing Lindsay to act the way that she does.

If we all stop paying attention to Lindsay Lohan then she won't have to be destroying herself in order to stay in the loop, she will get on with her life or she'll move on to porn (which I am in favor of.)
