Run away mind, run, but never hide.
Obscure thoughts now being felt,
her existence craved through this warm heart,
once faded and broken.
A cracked soul mended,
mended by an affectionate hand,
with a delicate, desirable touch.
Moon shines a bit brighter now,
her eyes starry and dilated,
I cast my wishes upon.
Night draws it's curve-filled shadows,
as we lie ardent aside one another,
caressed by each breath taken.
Silence stills the cool, gentle air,
as her smile whispers unspeakable words,
once neglected now anticipated.
Raindrops fall from a sun's shower,
unpredicted, I welcome its passionate arrival,
like the time she first stood before me.
Each awoken day brings anew,
no expectations, just curiosity,
for tomorrow awaits; impatiently.
Run away mind, run, but never hide.
