Poetry: Hate

by Steve Marshall

Created on: January 20, 2009

Hate is born from the valley of peace
Peace breeds hate when peace is lost
Peace is lost from doubting love to cease
Knowing peace loses a fullness of doubt

Catch a part of the love to hate
Allow death to be in your life
Create doubt from the certainty of pain
Fly down low to reach up high

Create life from your hate and love
Love freely without the doubt about
Love to be hated is hating to love
Doubt goes under its old name as hate

Hate fears itself to be loved while living
Hate fits nothing but into itself too late
Hate creates a certainty of greed, its fate
Hate only wants what love has given innate
