Living the single life without sex by choice can be a tough decision in a society where the focus of television advertisements, media coverage and so forth are filled with sexual images and sexual relationships. So many people have the notion that choosing to live single life without sex is impossible. Behind closed doors, you will be surprised to learn that more and more singles are choosing to live single life without sex for many good reasons.

While society tries to convey the stereotype that a single choosing to live life without sex is cold-hearted, frigid or afraid of commitment, many singles are now realizing that this choice is about self-respect. You simply don't know if someone is a carrier until you have had the time to really get to know someone. While there are condoms and other methods to prevent the chances of contracting STDs, there is still that darkness that glooms over the experience.

Many singles are choosing to live single life without sex to build mature relationships. They are seeking dating partners that will offer more than just a quick romp in the hay. Instead, singles want someone to date that is going to be fun, exciting and communicate with them. Building friendships and mature relationships become the focus of dating, instead of the opportunity to have sex with yet another partner.

Living Single Life Without Sex is Not Difficult

Some people will fall into the stereotypes that something is wrong with a single that chooses to live the single life without sex. However, if the focus of dating and relationships is not sexually centered, it is not that difficult to live the single life without sex. In fact, the other aspects of life become more important and more enjoyable without sex being missed by the majority of singles.
