Poetry: Valentine's Day

by Amanda R M

Created on: January 20, 2009

If I could have anything,
Anything in the world,
A house that soars through the clouds,
Or an enormous boatload of pearls,
Never could material things,
Replace the happiness that you bring,
And so I say with all my heart,
I don't ever want us to be apart.

If I could fly,
Go anywhere,
Not a place I'd go,
Unless you were there.
To see you smile,
Is all I wish,
And to feel the passion,
In your sweet kiss.

Until the time,
That I face death,
I will love you,
With my final breath.
