The emptiness of these four walls

echoes the silence that I hear

our faded picture still hangs in the hall

and your memories are still so near

that sometimes I believe

I can still hear your voice

oh, why did you have to leave

did you think that was your only choice

to take half of my heart with you

and live your life erasing my voice

Your memory is all that's left of you

my heart is broken beyond repair

I'd give anything now to hold you again

instead I'm lost and don't know what to do

I try to clear my mind

but you're everywhere

and letting go only brings me more pain

so the only thing that I can do

is pray that you'll return to me-

My heart aches

with a pain I've never known before

and I'm torn apart as my heart still breaks

bitter, because we both could have given more

and I'd give anything now

to see your beautiful face

shed this misery somehow

But as long as you're gone

I'll be forever out of place

I pray that you will come home

let the love that we share erase
